6.1 Steps to complete your functional analysis

  • For each product life profile, find out which external environments (E.M.s) interact with each other (cf. Competitive analysis sheet for the functional analysis of a product [FIC 0621] ). For each life cycle phase, the external environments interact in the product's operating mode. They are easy to identify: in general, they are the parts in contact with the product (solid, liquid or gas)....
