One of the hallmarks of the start-up world is speed of execution. These organizations develop solutions very quickly, in order to gain market exposure as quickly as possible. They are constrained by their very limited resources. Start-ups often begin their adventure with savings, family money and possibly loans. He or she will have to make do with this money, even if in the vast majority of cases, the amount raised will not enable them to realize their dream. His objective is to quickly demonstrate that value can be extracted from his idea. The budget constraint also makes it possible to set a maximum loss amount. This avoids getting bogged down with an idea which, even if it's described as brilliant, doesn't find a market.
