4. Cultivating risk-taking

The risk-taking that so characterizes the entrepreneur must also be part of the intrapreneur's journey. And you can provoke it at different times.

  • First of all, when the candidate decides to embark on intrapreneurship: by only guaranteeing them a "lifespan" of a few months with a limited budget, they run a first risk, as they are taking the decision to leave a "stable" position for a potentially ephemeral adventure, especially if you don't guarantee them a return to their original position in the event of a stoppage.

  • During exploration, risk-taking situations are potentially numerous. Each iteration will consume budget. Thinking in terms of acceptable losses is very new to the young intrapreneur. Every decision will be seen as a risk, sometimes a small one, but in certain situations, it may be a bold gamble....
