    ABSTRACT

    The early integration of environmental and societal dimensions into creativity and innovation processes has become essential in order to develop new offers which are more responsible and sustainable considering the challenges and needs derived from the ustainable development. This article presents the eco-innovation approach and its various related concepts as well as an assesment of the tools which can assist these responsible innovation processes. it concludes with the description of the eco-innovation tool EcoASIT, adapted from the ASIT method, and dedicated to assisting creativity and eco-ideation phases. EcoASIToffers a three-stage process: a simple and efficient identification of the objective of the eco-innovation session, a phase of generating ideas in order to stimulate group creativity and an idea assessment phase based upon suitable criteria.
