2. Move from use to experience, i.e. interface with the entire usage scene; before/during/after

It's essential to consider the entire scene of use from the customer's point of view, and not from the point of view of your product's potential: this is the transition from ergonomics to experience.

Experience is defined by the interaction of successive or simultaneous phases of use in a sequence. Identifying the upstream and downstream phases of your offer is essential to working on experience.

2.1 What to consider in the upstream phases?

These are essentially contextual situations: what leads the customer to choose this solution?

  • What is the environment like when he makes this choice?

  • Why did he choose this solution?
