1. Understanding the need to speak the explorer's language
The language of large corporations, adapted to the operating culture, induces a behavior adapted to the latter, with in particular the need to set up and master processes in order to control risks and avoid failure. The language of start-ups, on the other hand, is adapted to the culture of exploration, and induces a notion of risk-taking, risk management over time, and learning through the implementation of an iterative mode in which each experience is considered a source of learning.
If we are to succeed in the cultural shift from a world of exploitation to a world of exploration, it's important to use a different language.
