6.1 Run a pilot test
Before launching the evaluation with a large panel of participants, it is advisable to carry out a pilot test on a smaller population in order to refine the protocol and its components.

The Kansei descriptors selected for evaluation must be mutually discriminating, i.e. not too similar in meaning, so as not to introduce noise into the evaluation.
