 INTRODUCTION

Kansei engineering is a design engineering support methodology that has been developed since the 70s in Japan, and more recently in Europe. It enables us to specify and implement the relationship between the consumer's experience and the semantics of the future product to be designed. A specific semantic conveyed through the product's formal or functional attributes will provoke a particular emotional response. The emotional dimension has been taken into account more recently in design methods.

  • How to implement these approaches?

  • What are they for and how do you use them?
