1. Kansei engineering, why and how?

1.1 Implementation

Kansei engineering can be used in a reciprocal way, both to generate new concepts in line with the semantic specifications of the model and the desired brand values, or to evaluate existing concepts or solutions. Concept generation can be carried out automatically when the methodology is used to implement design support systems that implement specific algorithms. These algorithms come from both statistical approaches (ANOVAS, regressions) and/or machine learning methods (clustering, neural networks, genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic...).

This sheet will help you implement the Kansei engineering method in four steps:

  • Collect input data.

  • Carry out the assessment....
