5. Mistakes to avoid
Think of any initiative, new idea, suggestion or project launch as innovation.
Set up internal procedures and rules for innovation without a strong link to the outside world (i.e. study of customer expectations, analysis of the ecosystem, relations with partners).
Isolating innovation in terms of teams, experts and functions within the company (for example, creating an innovation unit), when it's really a question of instilling a culture of innovation for everyone.
To be an innovative company, it is not enough to be dynamic and efficient; other criteria must also be met (see step 3), since innovation is linked to an organizational process that creates value for the company and/or its customer.
