 INTRODUCTION

You're wondering about innovation in your company. This involves defining what the verb "to innovate" means, in relation to or in differentiation from other terms (create, improve, transform), and what innovation is about: products, services, processes, projects.

Based on a typology of innovations – disruptive innovations versus incremental innovations –, the company can find its bearings and find frameworks for validating its strategy. In simple terms, what it does to innovate, what it is in relation to what surrounds it (its ecosystem).

This fact sheet will help you understand the main characteristics of an innovative company and identify the criteria for assessing your position as an innovator in the value chain.
