INTRODUCTION
As the head of a structure whose aim is to develop intrapreneurial teams, you're wondering how to measure the progress of the teams you support. On the one hand, you don't want to stop exploring too soon, for fear of missing out on a great development opportunity. But on the other hand, you're worried about sticking to a subject for too long, spending time and money in search of an unlikely success.
Yet each of these initiatives faces its own difficulties. They all require appropriate support and a variety of funding sources. Purely digital explorations can quickly find their market and require few resources. On the other hand, those calling on less mature technologies or with longer implementation times (in the biotech field, for example) will require more time and resources. Consequently, time, and hence the associated resources, cannot be the only criteria for judging progress.
This sheet proposes a graphical representation method based on the time spent exploring, the size of the market addressed and the level of residual exploration risk.
