2. Measuring intrapreneurial team learning

The other important parameter for qualifying the progress of an exploration lies in the intrapreneurial team's learning. The work of an exploration is based on an iterative method. Each iteration, whether successful or not, is a source of learning. If not, the money spent on the iteration is for nothing. And although this sometimes happens, it's not a good idea to have a series of experiences without learning from them.

The team progresses, because it learns and can build its business model. And this in three key areas:

  • desirability, i.e. "how the company creates value"; the intrapreneurial team will answer the question: "Do they want it?

  • feasibility, i.e. "how the company delivers value"; the question the team will ask itself is: "Can we do it?
