Eco-design
Integration of environmental aspects into product design and development, with the aim of reducing negative environmental impacts throughout a product's life cycle (ISO 14006: 2020).
Eco-ideation
Idea generation phase with high environmental ambitions, over the entire life cycle of the reference system, with a view to generating eco-innovations.
Eco-innovation
Eco-innovation is defined as innovation that focuses primarily on the environmental dimension, but integrates economic and social aspects, and significantly improves the overall sustainable performance of a product throughout its life cycle and at a high systemic level (definition proposed by the EcoSD network in 2013).
