7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't look for volume

Focus on coaching your intrapreneurs, not on coaching as many as possible. In incubation, it's generally accepted that you need one coach for every four to five teams. Over time, the need for support generally diminishes, as the team grows and becomes more autonomous. To support intrapreneurial teams properly, you need time. Time to listen to them, to be able to identify where help is needed, to help them see the opportunities that lie ahead. Every adventure represents an opportunity. By entrusting them to you, your organization wants to know if this opportunity can become a source of future growth. So before you do any volume, make sure you've allowed each opportunity to be fully illuminated.
