1. Mapping expertise

Implementing an "Expertise" channel requires us to build up knowledge of the expert channel and define new benchmarks.

First of all, you need to know :

  • the distribution and content of know-how in the area under consideration;

  • the population of people eligible for expert status ;

  • objectives for developing the company's skills and know-how (including, for example, whether or not to outsource certain "business" activities).

In the next step of this data sheet, a mapping approach is explained in detail. But first, we need to define the criteria for recognizing expertise. This involves determining :
