1. Prioritize the various functions to be deployed in the business intelligence approach

The business intelligence approach is based on three fundamental pillars:

• information security and protection, which aims to implement the resources, tools and actions needed to preserve the company's intangible assets;

• monitoring and intelligence, which covers all the information-gathering activities that enable the company to decipher changes in its environment (legislation, standards, competition, technology) and even, ideally, to help it anticipate these changes;
