3. Understanding the special characteristics of intrapreneurs
The main characteristics of the intrapreneur, based on the situation described above, should be as follows.
3.1 Perseverance (much more than the entrepreneur)
Conventional organizations don't necessarily welcome explorers with open arms. Even if the terrain is favorable, which is rarely the case, the intrapreneur will have to be persistent to convince others. Unfortunately, politics and resistance to change will be part of his daily routine, and he'll have to deal with it. A "No" today doesn't necessarily mean a "No" tomorrow. The same goes for a "Yes"...
