6. Mistakes to avoid

6.1 Don't consider the process more important than the people

An exploratory adventure is first and foremost a human adventure. The process helps to guide the organization and its people along the path to creating a new business. Nevertheless, to move forward, the team needs to be helped and guided by coaching and, if possible, training. It's very difficult to change explorers during the course of a mission. So don't put the process before the people, because without them and without their progress, the process is of little use.
