2. Understanding the starting point
Generally speaking, incubation is carried out within an appropriate organization, made up largely of coaches who will accompany the intrapreneurial teams so that they can progress smoothly through their exploration. These coaches, who have generally not been involved in the previous phases, need to get to grips with the issues at hand. It's important to give them time to do this. They will also appreciate the way in which the intrapreneurial team expresses itself to describe its idea, and the way in which the subject is approached. This is also the time when the coach gets to know the team. He'll be able to get an idea of the people who make up the team, their personalities and skills, and how they complement each other, for example. The coach will also be able to identify any potential conflicts or sources of conflict. This will enable him to anticipate their appearance.
