ABSTRACT

Mechanical actions are generally summed up by a result and a point in time. This article deals with the actions characterized by their time vector, measurable by a torque meter. The technology and usage of the torque meter varies according to the configuration of systems. The article concludes with the implementation of static and dynamic measurements.

As we saw in Part 1 of this dossier , that mechanical actions are, in a general case, summarized by a resultant and a moment. Having dealt with the special case of the measurement of actions which are summarized by a resultant at a point in physical space, we will now deal with the other special case of actions which are characterized by their moment vector.
