Agriculture biologique; Organic agriculture

Organic farming is based on the premise that agricultural production must be based on cooperation with the ecosystem as a whole, respecting the laws of nature. Through its practices, it optimizes the productive capacities of a terroir while preserving the health of various communities within the agricultural ecosystem, including soil organisms, plants, livestock and people. It promotes biodiversity, natural soil fertility, farmer autonomy and healthy food for all. Its principles were laid down by various pioneers around the world at the beginning of the 20th century, and it takes many forms and designations depending on culture and geography.
