Prefectoral decree

Administrative act concerning an enforceable decision of general or individual scope issued by the prefect, imposing the execution of a certain number of prescriptions.

Operator

Individual or legal entity holding (or applying for) an authorization to operate. A person submitting an application for authorization to operate (DAE) is also commonly referred to as a petitioner.

Specifications

Provisions imposed by the authorities (generally by prefectoral or ministerial decree) which may concern various fields: technical, financial, administrative, deadlines to be met, reporting requirements, limits or thresholds not to be exceeded (for water, air or noise analyses, etc.).
