4. How do you report and manage incidents and accidents?
The operator of a classified facility is required to report any accidents or incidents arising from the operation of his facility as soon as possible to the Classified Facilities Inspectorate. The operator is required to submit an accident report and, at the request of the inspectorate, an incident report to the Classified Facilities Inspectorate. These reports must describe the circumstances and causes of the accident or incident, the effects on people and the environment, and the measures taken or planned to avoid a similar accident or incident and to mitigate its medium- or long-term effects.
