2.1 Customer
In quality management terms, a customer is defined as: "a person or organization who is likely to receive or who receives a product or service intended for, or requested by, that person or organization".
It may be a consumer, an end-user, a retailer or distributor, a recipient of a product or service resulting from an internal process, a beneficiary or a buyer. The customer may be internal or external to the organization.
