10. Quality assurance
In order to demonstrate product conformity to standards, and to its own internal specifications where applicable, the manufacturer must set up a quality assurance system based on three main guidelines:
implementation of a quality management system ;
rigorous performance testing ;
implementation of a manufacturing process monitoring system.
