5. Rule 4: Maintain your image
There's no way around it: to establish a partnership with your suppliers, you need to have and maintain a "good image", inspiring respect, trust and sympathy. This image must benefit both your suppliers and your "internal customers", i.e. your other processes (production, logistics, sales, HR, etc.).
By implementing measurement methods that enable you to assess how your purchasing process is perceived by your suppliers and "internal customers", you can identify areas for improvement and develop your "good image".
