Quality policy gives direction to the QMS and must be fully consistent with the company's strategy. It emanates from management, is transcribed into processes and must be understood by all personnel.

To do this, you'll need to define the quality policy with the right people, draw it up and communicate it in a suitable form, then support its effective implementation within the QMS.
