2. Identify the recipients of the quality policy
Quality policy is aimed at a wide range of people, and their interests are just as varied.
The first and foremost recipients are the company's employees, who are likely to need explanations of the meaning of the quality approach and what it implies, if not on a day-to-day basis, at least in their professional practices.
Company stakeholders other than employees (e.g. customers, suppliers and partners) can also be recipients of the quality policy, in which they should at least be mentioned.
Authorities, control and certification bodies are also recipients. In this case, they check that the content of the quality policy complies with the requirements of the applicable standards.
