1. Define your company's process approach
ISO 9000 standards encourage the adoption of a process approach when developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system, in order to increase customer satisfaction by meeting their requirements.
The process approach is one of the seven management principles highlighted in ISO 9001 (see Glossary). Within the framework of this approach, the organization identifies the processes necessary for its operation, as well as their interactions.
Once identified, processes can be described, modeled, implemented with or without automation, measured and evaluated, reviewed and improved or reconfigured, or even replaced.
