1. Deal with non-conformities

The audit report highlighted non-conformities. A non-conformity is a deviation from a requirement that you should have met. A deviation is always factual in relation to the expected requirement.

There are two types of non-conformity:

  • minor non-conformity, which is a deviation from the standard that does not call into question the effectiveness of the system in place or the improvement process;

  • major non-conformity, which is also a deviation, but which calls into question the efficiency of the system or the improvement process.
