3. Identify areas for progress or opportunities for improvement

The audit report highlights areas for progress or opportunities for improvement. These enable the organization to improve. We are no longer in the realm of non-conformity or the risk of non-conformity occurring.

This brings you into the realm of your organization's possible progress proposals. This can be summarized as follows:

"The situation is satisfactory today. It could be better if we implement the improvement proposal."

Example

Supplier evaluation is carried out every six months by the buyer, using a spreadsheet tool that requires data to be re-entered. Consider automating the supplier evaluation tool, based directly on information from your CAPM: sales, supplier non-conformities, supplier order lines, supplier acceptance lines.
