2. Deal with sensitive points or points of vigilance

A sensitive point or a point of vigilance corresponds to a risk of drift in the quality management system. If you do nothing, the situation could deteriorate and highlight an internal or external non-conformity (customer complaint, for example).

Example

The purchasing data in supplier order no. C20110034 are not sufficiently explicit. The mechanical parts produced by your subcontractor do not specify the drawing to be used, and in particular the revision index. ISO 9001 specifies in paragraph 8.4.3 "Information for external service providers" that: "The organization shall communicate to external service providers the requirements concerning: a) the processes, products and services to be supplied; ...".
