5. Validation of audit plan

Approximately one month before the scheduled date of the certification audit, the audit manager will propose an audit plan detailing the timing of the audit days and the processes to be audited.

It's important to study the audit plan internally before validating it.

Auditors have an external and partial view of your activities. So make sure that all your processes are audited, and plan adequate audit times for each process. Talk to the pilots of the audited processes to make sure they are available on the day, and communicate their names and functions to the audit manager, then validate the audit plan together.
