4. Validation of audit team and establishment of contact
When the contract is signed, the certification body's account manager will set up an audit team
To do this, he will suggest one or more auditor CVs, which you will have to validate.
Generally speaking, the organization will propose auditor profiles with experience in your field of activity, which can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on the case. This can also lead to significant travel, accommodation and catering costs if the auditor(s) reside(s) far from your company.
