1. How do you tackle the problem of reducing the cost of non-quality?

In a previous fact sheet [FIC 0493] , we looked at the method that could be used to identify and quantify the costs of non-quality. We therefore have an inventory – which we believe to be exhaustive – of the various areas which generate non-quality of a diverse and varied nature. As part of a continuous improvement approach, we now wish to analyze the causes of these non-qualities, implement solutions to eliminate these causes or reduce their impact, and thus recover the costs or lost earnings due to these non-qualities.
