4. Locate your business project in line with urban planning documents and environmental schemes

The operator must ensure that his existing or planned activity is compatible with :

• Urban planning documents (POS land use plan, PLU local urban planning plan, carte communale, SCOT territorial coherence plan). Moreover, you are invited to include a town planning certificate in your file, in which the town hall informs you of the town planning laws applicable to your plot of land, as well as the status of existing or planned facilities.

• Protected areas, in particular Natura 2000 sites, national parks, marine parks, areas for the protection of water catchments intended for human consumption, natural areas of flora and fauna (ZNIEFF).
