2. You avoid having to carry out impact and hazard studies and other specific analyses

The registration application does not include an impact study or a hazard assessment. In addition, no specific analyses are requested (noise and vibration measurements, impact studies on flora and fauna, soil studies, etc.).

Attention

If justified by the sensitivity of the surrounding environment, the authorities may deem a dossier incomplete or irregular. It may then ask the operator to add either an impact study, or a specific environmental impact study on Natura 2000, noise, water, etc. This may lead the prefect either to impose specific requirements (after the draft decree has been submitted to the CoDERST), or to decide to switch the project to the authorization procedure.
