7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't limit the project's organizational structure to project management resources alone.

A project is a temporary organization designed to achieve deliverable objectives. This organization is cross-functional, since it obviously involves resources from both the project owner and the prime contractor. Because a project is not limited to a classic customer/supplier relationship, it is important to integrate all resources into its organization, so that the "deadline" criterion can be met.
