 INTRODUCTION

PRINCE2 stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments. This project management method is built around processes for structuring, organizing and completing projects. It is based on project evaluations carried out with project managers and project teams who have contributed to the success (or failure, due to errors or omissions) of the projects entrusted to them.

This fact sheet introduces you to this method, taking into account the requirements for both PRINCE2 certifications ® :

  • foundation whose aim is the knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2 fundamentals and the relationship between principles, processes, themes, products, and roles in projects;

  • practitioner who validates the application of the fundamentals (and the reasons behind them) in a project situation, and the ability to adapt these principles to the proposed scenarios and evaluate the results.
