Leaders are energetic and full of vitality. They are sociable, self-confident and rarely stand back or remain silent.

One of the main causes of project failure is poor communication.

A major role of the project leader is to maintain constant, positive communication, both internally and externally, with customers, suppliers and all stakeholders. This will enable him or her, and the project team, to correct or redirect certain actions to keep or get the project back on track. This feedback, and the measurement of everyone's satisfaction, will keep everyone motivated, and therefore efficient, and provide a common direction for resolving certain inevitable problems during the life of the project.
