6. Identify the people involved in filing the patent
When filing a patent application, several people are involved:
the applicant, i.e. the person who will benefit from the right to the patent;
the inventor, who may be the applicant or a third party, employee or not;
the agent, i.e. the natural or legal person who will carry out the filing formalities on behalf of the depositor(s).
It is essential to identify, prior to submitting the application, the individuals or legal entities who will be designated in these various capacities.
