8. Our advice

8.1 Protect the confidentiality of your creations before filing a patent application.

In particular, plan as early as possible a contractual framework adapted to the project and the parties involved. If you decide not to protect your creation through a patent application at one stage, this confidentiality can be the starting point for other forms of protection: know-how, secrecy, design, etc.
