4. Represent uses

You've finalized your observations and analyzed the problems associated with usage situations. In order to communicate this information (to your project group, to decision-makers, to the public...) and convince your interlocutors, you now need to represent these existing usage scenarios in a synthetic and effective way. The Radical Innovation Design ® methodology offers a highly visual way of doing this. It's an excellent way of communicating, and therefore convincing. However, the playful aspect of the representation must not take precedence over the rationality of your innovation approach, to the detriment of the information that must be conveyed.

In this way, a good representation of a usage scenario :

  • is a story, with a beginning and an end;

  • involves users in archetypal usage...
