3. Define and implement pilot applications

Mapping your reuse activities has enabled you to identify a series of opportunities for developing or improving them.

The aim is then to select one or two opportunities and run pilot applications to process them, in order to kick-start the development of reuse activities. Pilot applications enable :

  • test and optimize methods before deploying them;

  • involve operational staff in these fine-tunings and ensure their contribution, involvement and ownership;

  • produce the first concrete results, which can be presented to promote our contributions and serve as teaching aids for training and/or deployment.
