1. Mapping reuse activities

The objectives of this first stage are :

  • identifying and assessing the maturity of existing reuse activities;

  • identifying and defining development needs for these activities.

1.1 Maturity grid

A maturity grid can be used to assess reuse activities in your context. It sets out a list of types of activities to be included in the scope of reuse during innovation activities:

  • A: reuse of standard systems, modules, components and catalogs. These elements are, for example, manufactured in given quantities according to market volume requirements.
