6. Our advice

Re-usability often depends on the quality of the information that guides re-use. It is important to take care in structuring the information used to support re-use, taking into account the point of view and the way in which the information is used by those re-using existing, standardized elements. The quality of capitalization is key.

Implementing reuse practices is all the more effective and sustainable if it also affects the company's processes, methods and tools. Standardization of processes, business rules and vocabulary is a key factor in facilitating reuse capabilities.
