5. Deploy and measure

Deployment can be carried out according to the maturity grid, in order to make it evolve, and according to the chronology of the innovation's life cycle (preparation for upstream and downstream reuse).

Re-use capabilities are put in place as early as the research phase, to ensure that innovations and new solutions are exploited to the full in the subsequent phases of R&T, development, industrialization and production-operations.

Deployment must also take place opportunistically, in line with industrial activity and marketing plans.

Lastly, it may be appropriate to develop reuse practices as part of improving the robustness of innovations and the development of new products.
