4. Implement the associated management levers

The implementation of capacities, practices, methods and tools for reuse must be accompanied by management levers. Indeed, from the point of view of operational players, it is often simpler to "reinvent", or even "remake", because it is often necessary to expend energy to find reusable elements, to learn the right way to reuse them, to adapt to the associated limits and constraints...

It is then recommended :

  • strongly communicate the benefits of reuse – on the fact that this is a good practice;

  • define, implement and control the process for creating new product references and configurations; this process must subject all new creations to a search for potential reuses, and justify any non-use of existing elements by means of derogations;
