Ergonomics is a key factor when choosing a forklift truck.
To meet the wide variety of operating conditions for self-propelled forklift trucks, manufacturers have had to adopt very different solutions for the layout of the operator station and control units.
First and foremost, the driver must be protected against accidents caused by external obstacles or the load being transported, in particular by ensuring the best possible visibility in all phases of work. We also need to avoid anything that could have harmful long-term repercussions on the operator's health, such as poor posture likely to lead to painful skeletal deformations, vibrations and noise.
